Behind Tt Photographie

ABOUT

Tt Photographie is led by Tara, a conference and event photographer working with organizations across corporate, academic, institutional and brand events.

Capturing the moments that tell the bigger story.

I am a photographer based in Austin, Texas, with a particular love for photographing people when they’re doing what they do best.

Much of my work has taken me into conference rooms, lecture halls, stages, dinners, and events around the world, where I photograph speakers, researchers, leaders, and the people who make an event come alive.

I’m drawn to the moments beyond the obvious, the expression, interaction, split second that reveals the true story behind an experience. My goal is to create images that feel polished, authentic, and genuinely representative of the people in front of my camera.

My background in research and higher education has shaped the way I approach photography. I’m comfortable in professional environments, understand how quickly moments unfold, and know when to step forward and when to stay out of the way.

I’m observant, prepared, and always looking for the photograph that someone else might miss.

Beyond the main event, I also focus on the moments around it, conversations over dinner, laughter between colleagues, thoughtful details in a beautifully designed space, and the unexpected moments that often become everyone’s favorite images.

My Approach

A woman with red glasses giving a thumbs-up outside a modern glass building, wearing a black jacket with a camera hanging around her neck.

For me, great event photography isn’t simply about recording what happened.

It’s about preserving the atmosphere, emotions, and connections that allow people to remember how it felt to be there.

More Than Documentation

Observing people.
Anticipating moments.

Telling the story .

A quiet presence in the room, a considered eye on the schedule, and a preference for what actually happened over what was arranged for the camera.
